Questions We Get a Lot :)

Have a question? See it answered below!

Do You Accept Saturday Appointments?

Yes! We are open two Saturdays a month for your convenience. Contact our office today to learn more about this month’s Saturday Appointments Schedule.

Do You Accept My Insurance?

We accept most dental insurance and we offer insurance assistance! We will file your claims for you electronically and communicate with your insurance company until your claim has been processed to ensure payment. We are an in-network provider with several major PPO plans. Please call for details!

What kind of payment options are available at Kids 1st Dental?

We accept all major credit cards, cash and personal checks. We also have several in-house financing options available. We’ll do what we can to work with you and find a payment solution that works for your financial needs – we want what is best for your child! Call for details!

Do you offer special pricing for cash patients without dental insurance?

Yes! We provide cash patients with a significant discount off of our standard fees. We do what we can to make dental care for your child as affordable as possible.

Do I need to complete a new patient form for my child before I arrive for his/her appointment?

No need! We have equipped our reception room with computer kiosks so you may enter your child’s information and medical history digitally; making it quick and easy to complete these forms upon your child’s arrival.

What are your office hours?

We are open 8am-5pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Saturdays we are open 8am-1pm. The office is not currently open on Wednesdays.

How about emergency care?

If your child has a dental emergency (such as a sports injury, etc.) we are experienced and equipped to handle these unexpected situations! Call our office immediately and we’ll do our very best to accommodate ASAP.

My "kid" is a teenager. Can he/she still be seen at Kids 1st Dental?

We love our teenage patients! We will generally see infants, toddlers, kids, and teens up to age 18 years of age. At a certain point, we may recommend a partnering General Dentist that specializes in adult dental care, but are always willing to accommodate our awesome teenage patients.

What if my kid needs braces?

Part of what makes Dr. Dean a pediatric specialist is his ability to spot developing problems with a child’s jaw development and/or alignment. We can provide expanders and space maintainers to intercept small problems before they become big ones and can refer your child to an orthodontist if braces are needed.

Proudly Serving the Communities of McKinney, Allen, Melissa, Princeton, Fairview, Frisco, and beyond!
